French President expresses gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart

1347975620_azerbaycan-fransa-bayragi-301210French President François Hollande expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.APA reports that the opening ceremony of a new hall dedicated to Islamic art was held in Louver Museum on September 18. The President of Azerbaijan and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva also attended the ceremony.
French President François Hollande welcomed the President, and the first lady of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the ceremony, the chief director of Louver museum Henry Lorette said that France respects the cultures of all countries, as well as supports the protection of Islamic art. From this part of view the Louver museum an important role in the intercultural dialogue. The Islamic civilization will be deeply studied so far thanks to the new halls.

In his speech the President of France noted that the project has been being implemented since 2008 and the main reason of the project is to show the importance of the Louver museum and France position towards the Islamic civilization. French President François Hollande expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev for his support: “I thank everyone, especially the President of Azerbaijan, for their support. They are one of our numerous partners. They are the friends of France. I hope they will continue to support such projects”.

Then the guests get acquainted with the section of Islamic art.

Besides France, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Oman and Morocco played an important role in the realization of this project.

After getting acquainted with the exhibits, the participants had their memory photos taken. Then the President of Azerbaijan and the first lady had their memory photos taken in front of the museum.
