The kept of captive Azerbaijan citizens in invaded Azerbaijan territories and in Armenia as a result of annexationist politics of Armenians, the witness stories which affirm that captives were exposed to torture and  agonies, also the facts collected due to the documents composed by international organization and representatives of opposite side are presented in the book to readers.

 

Allahverdiyev Elkhan Kamil oglu

Allahverdiyev Elkhan Kamil oglu was born in Yukhari Yemezli village of Zangilan district of Azerbaijan Republic in 1966. In 1992 he voluntarily went to defend native village and served in national battal­ion allotted to Zangilan regiment. On the 24th of December, 1992 during the fight in Yukhari Yemezli village of Zangilan district. Elkhan was wounded in stomach and taken prisoner by Armenians.

Elkhan’s mother Gurbanova Parishan Adish gizi who lived in Yukhari Yemezli vil­lage of Zangilan district wrote a statement and informed that she found out that infor­mation while searching for her son.

That information was confirmed by his sister Allahverdiyeva Mirvari Kamil gizi, uncle Allahverdiyev Allahverdi Abish oglu, the com­mander of troop of military unit where Elkhan served – Guliyev Nadir Ismayil oglu.

Those who returned from Armenian cap­tivity said that Elkhan was kept in Yerevan.

Allahverdiyev Famil Heydar oglu

Allahverdiyev Famil Hey­dar oglu was born in Dalgilinjli village of Kelbajar district of Azerbaijan Republic in 1964. He worked at Highway Patrol Department of Kelbajar dis­trict. At the beginning of Gara-bagh war Famil took part in fights for the defense of lands. On the 26th of January, 1994 during the fight for Chichekli height Allahverdiyev Famil came back to take the corpses of his front-line comrades and then he was taken prisoner. Albert Vos­kanyan who engaged in change of prisoners of war informed that Allahverdiyev Famil was taken prisoner and kept in regiment in Khan-kandi town. That information was given by his brothers: Mikayilov Fakhraddin Heydar oglu (at present he lives in Railway boarding school Nq 22 in Ganja) and Mikayilov Sabir Heydar oglu (he lives in the hostel Ne 2 in Baku, Azadlig Street, 161 A) who lived in Dalgilinjli village of Kelbajar district.

According to a statement of his front-line comrade Agayev Abdulla Hadi oglu who lived in Armudlu village of Kelbajar district (at present he lives in Garachinar village of Goranboy district) witnessed that Famil was taken prisoner by Armenians. According to Abdulla’s words Armenians connected with them by radio communication and informed that a poiceman whose name was Famil was taken prisoner.

When the father of prisoner of war Agalarov Yashar Musa oglu – Agalarov Musa who lived in Khangarvand village of Goranboy district searched for his son, he got a list of 36 Azerbaijani prisoners of war confirmed by chief of staff of Khankandi reg­iment Armais Saakyan. There was the name of Allahverdiyev Famil in that jist. It was shown that he was kept in Khankandi. Arme­nians wanted to change those prisoners for a killer of journalist Salatin Asgarova Arkadi Ayriyan whose nick name was «Napoleon». It was impossible to release Famil.

Allahverdiyev Mahir Novruz oglu

Allahverdiyev Mahir Saleh oglu was born in Khojali town of Azerbaijan Republic in 1975. On the 26th of February, 1992, dur­ing occupation of Khojali town by Armenian armed forces Mahir with members of his family ran to Aghdam district. On the way to Nakhchivanik they were surrounded in the forest and taken hostages by Armenians.

According to the information of Mahir’s villager Azimov Abbasgulu Shahmar oglu (now he lives in the hostel Nq 1 of ATU in Baku, Sharifzade Street), at night during occupation of Khojali, his wife and sons with the neighbour Allahverdiyev Novruz who worked at Gas Department, his blind father and son Mahir left the territory and ran away together. On the way the Allahverdiyevs decided to stay in the for­est at night. Abbasgulu and others went to Aghdam. From that time till present they didn’t met.

That fact was confirmed by his villager Azimov Aydin Abbasgulu. According to the words, Allahverdiyev Mahir and his mem­bers of family were kept in Upper Garabagh.

Allahverdiyev Novruz Saleh oglu

Allahverdiyev Novruz Sa­leh oglu was born in Khojali town of Azerbaijan Republic in 1947. On the 26th of February, 1992, during occu­pation of Khojali town by Armenian armed forces Novruz with the members of his family ran to Aghdam district. On the way to Nakhchivanik they were surround­ed in the forest and taken hostages by Armenians.
